The official permanent academic records for all TECH students are maintained by the Office of the University Registrar. This information is protected by federal law and release of any of this information is done in accordance with University policy based on the guidelines set forth in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. Enrollment Verification may be obtained by the student or released to another party based on the student’s written authorization.
- Enrollment Verification is a service provided free of charge.
- LA TECH provides all verifications beginning the 4th class day of each term (after the end of the drop/add period).
Requesting Enrollment Verification
By Self Service:
Students can use the “on-line Enrollment Verification menu option on their B.O.S.S. account to produce an Enrollment Verification certificate directly from the National Student Clearinghouse. You will need Adobe Acrobat (download link at bottom of page) and a printer to produce the certificate. These are available after the ninth day of classes.
By Postal Mail:
Complete the Verification Release Form. These are available after the third day of classes. Sign the form and mail it to:

Complete and sign an Verification Release Form at the Registrar’s Office, Keeny Hall 207, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while the forms may be submitted early, the actual verification will not be released until after the third day of classes. They can be picked up or we will fax or mail it to a designated number or address.
Be prepared to show your student I.D. or a picture I.D. when requesting and picking up verifications in the office. Verifications will not be released to another party unless the student has given written authorization with the request. The designated person will be expected to show a picture I.D. before obtaining the verification letter.
