Many of these topics are covered in our Career Readiness Seminars presented quarterly in the Career Center. Our students and alumni can access a schedule and description of these seminars by logging on to their Handshake accounts. Any of these topics can be presented within your classroom. To have a staff member visit with your class, email the Career Center at CareerCenter@LATech.edu and an appropriate staff for your topic will reach out to you!
Along with our in office resources the Career Center sponsor on-campus recruiting events, employer info sessions and interviews. Do you have a student with an upcoming phone or online interview? The Career Center has interview rooms available for our students to reserve. Each room comes with internet access, pep talks and high fives! Have your student stop by the center to reserve a room today.
For our employer partners the Career Center provides opportunities to connect with our students through our management system, Handshake, and our on-campus recruiting events. If you have an employer partner interested in working with our university please recommend them reach out to Avery Broussard, Assistant Director of Operations, Technology & Employer Relations, at avery@latech.edu to learn more about the available resources though the Career Center.
