Alliance of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine through Equity and Diversity (AAVED)
The purpose of AAVED is to promote interest in the agricultural and veterinary medicine fields and strive to make these fields inclusive for all genders, races, sexualities, and disabilities. AAVED will achieve its purpose by helping in education and mental health through study sessions, professional school prep sessions, support groups, service events, and mentoring events. AAVED will allow students at LaTech to be a part of a bonded community that will benefit and help prepare them for their futures.
Members should be open-minded and respectful of everyone; no matter gender, race, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, or disability. Members must pay a dues of $10 for the year. Members can join from any major or university within the ULS-system.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
