Student Organizations

Purpose

CMYX’s purpose is to build community amongst the students of Louisiana Tech’s Graphic Design program. CMYX aims to do this through community events, that focus on fostering fellowship and furthering the skills of its members. Recognizing this organization would support the fostering of creative minds in the graphic design and studio art programs at Louisiana Tech University in a way that provokes fellowship and camaraderie among the students. One of the ways we would do this is by hosting student led events and projects that improve the atmosphere of the school and community.

Membership requirements

Members are expected to be respectful of races, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, etc. Members are expected to be either a Graphic Design or Studio major or minor and attend all mandatory meetings and events. Members are expected to comply with the university's hazing policy.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Meeting times and location

Bi-weekly meetings on Thursdays @6:30 pm in the Taylor Visual Art Center
