Student Organizations

Purpose

The purpose of the EMT shall be to promote self-esteem through positive self-expression all while enhancing students’ knowledge of the steps to being a successful amatuer model.

Membership requirements

Qualifications for active membership shall be runway walk and style of fashion. Active membership shall be for the period of time that a student pursues an undergraduate or graduate degree at Louisiana Tech University. To be considered for active membership in EMT, a student must have at least a 2.0 GPA based on hours pursued. To stay an active member, one must not have more than 3 unexcused absences from practices per quarter and have paid their annual dues by the set deadline. One should not have more than 3 excused absences.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Meeting times and location

Regular EMT practices/meetings are usually held on Mondays through Thursday (unless otherwise stated by the executive board) at 6 pm in The Kennel.
