Purpose
1. To promote interest in the field of Plant Science, such as plant propagation, landscaping, gardening, pest management, nursery and greenhouse production, agronomy, and botany. 2. To encourage high academic achievement among members. 3. To promote fellowship among the students interested in plant science. 4. To bring the fields of Horticulture and Plant Science in all its facets to public attention.
Membership requirements
Be friendly and kind to all, enjoy plants, and share that enjoyment with others. Find happiness in helping others. Be active in community involvement, and be responsible leaders in that community. Be eager to learn about all the aspects of working with plants, and improving the lives of others through service.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Mondays or Wednesdays at 5 pm in Reese Hall
