Honors Student Advisory Board
Purpose
The Honors Student Advisory Board is a student-led organization that works hard to create and facilitate a network of students with a heightened sense of identity as Honors students, a desire for campus involvement, and great academic motivation, performance, and achievement. HSAB also works to promote greater awareness of the Honors Program in the Tech Family, both on and off the campus, and to engage Louisiana Tech students, regardless of major, in an environment and community centered around a common Honors identity and interests by facilitating new educational and extracurricular opportunities. Louisiana Tech supports the "development of its students in a challenging, yet safe and supportive" community, and HSAB promotes that. We show that the Honors Program is of course about academic promotion and success, but that we also keep the environment fun and safe.
