KINES
Purpose
Purpose 1. To promote a spirit of unity among Kinesiology and Health Science & Exercise and Health Promotion majors while gaining recognition of our profession on campus and state-wide. 2. To bring about an awareness for the benefit of recreation and fitness activities on the part of Louisiana Tech Students. 3. To work together in various areas of the Kinesiology and Health Science & Exercise and Health Promotion field in order to promote high qualities of leadership and good character to enable members to give organized activities to anyone seeking the satisfaction and pleasure it provides. 4. To actively recruit new students interested in Kinesiology and Health Science & Exercise and Health Promotion to attend Louisiana Tech University. 5. To uphold the purpose, rules, and regulations of the university in all activities.
Membership requirements
III. Membership 1. Definition: an active member in the KINES organization shall be any Louisiana Tech University student majoring or minoring in Kinesiology and Health Science or Exercise and Health Promotion who has paid membership dues and who agrees to abide by the principles of the organization. 2. Qualifications: a. Open to all Kinesiology and Health Science & Exercise and Health Promotion majors and minors regardless of classification. b. To remain an active member in KINES, a student must maintain the academic policies of the university. IV. Membership Dues 1. Membership dues will be $15.00 annually payable to the treasurer at the beginning of the Fall Quarter. Checks payable to Louisiana Tech University. 2. Membership dues will not be returned to the student for any reason after he/she has paid these dues during registration.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

6pm in Memorial Gym
