Louisiana Tech Car Club
Purpose
The purpose of the Louisiana Tech Car Club is to build a safe and sound community for students at Louisiana Tech University. Our main goal is to create a community at tech that helps students set feet in the automotive world whether it is a professional career or for recreational purposes. Tech is home to electrical and mechanical engineering and this club would be a safe way for students to meet and share their knowledge. As the constitutions states this club is made for a safe way for students to meet, ANY MEMBER THAT ENDANGERS OR JEOPARDIZE THE INTEGRITY OF THE CLUB WILL BE REMOVED. WE FILL FOLLOW A 3 WARNING SYSTEM. WARNINGS WILL BE DOCUMENTED. INFRACTIONS INCLUDE: -TAKEOVERS -BURNOUTS -EXCESSIVE REVVING -DAMAGE OF PROPERTY -RACING -EXCESSIVE CURSING -EXCESSIVE NOISE -BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS -BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL
Membership requirements
As stated in the purpose we have very fine rules and that you cannot cross them. Safety is our number one concern. All members must pay $30 dues once every school year, and must complete the club's membership form completely.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
