Student Organizations

Purpose

The purpose of the Esports Club will be to raise awareness of the competitive community, teach competitive play to newcomers, practice with fellow members, and compete with fellow students in all competitive games.

Membership requirements

Active members shall be those members considered in “good standing.” A member is considered in good standing as long as they are following these requirements: a. Currently enrolled at Louisiana Tech University b. Membership fees are paid before deadline Active membership shall be for the period that a student pursues an undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University. Students who graduate and enroll for graduate credit at Louisiana Tech University are allowed to continue active membership in Esports Club for the remainder of the school year.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Meeting times and location

Biweekly meetings on Thursday at 6:00pm in Upstairs TONK (next to Esports Center)
