Louisiana Tech Esports
Purpose
LA Tech Esports is a social hub for ALL gamers! We have various competitive teams for games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Rocket League, Smash, Overwatch, COD, R6, CS2, Apex, and Fortnite. You don't have to be a competitive player to join the club! We have an esports center located on the 2nd floor of the TONK that's open to all students. In the center, there are 27 gaming PCs, 2 TV's, a Clone Hero setup, and consoles to use. Our center hours are M-F 2pm-12am. We are CLOSED on weekends.
Membership requirements
To be a part of our competitive teams, players must attend tryouts for their game of interest, be active within their team, be in good academic standing with the university, and complete all forms required for club sports. There are no requirements for casual players who want to come up and play games at the esports center.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Biweekly meetings on Thursday at 6:00pm in Upstairs TONK (next to Esports Center)
