Louisiana Tech Precision Flight Team
Purpose
The purpose of the Louisiana Tech Precision Flight Team shall be to promote aviation, safety, airmanship, aeronautical scholarship, and aviation professionalism.
Membership requirements
Membership shall be composed of students enrolled in the Professional Aviation curriculum. A member will be defined as a student who regularly attends Flight Team meetings and events. Attending meetings while not participating in events and activities, and Vice-Versa, will not constitute membership. Should a member not be present at the University (i.e. member is not attending summer class) they will not be punished or classified a non-member. The member shall well and truly represent Louisiana Tech University and its standards of excellence by competing in National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) Regional and National SAFECON competition. Flight Team members competing in NIFA SAFECON must be students in good standing that have been selected for the team through a process of oral, written, and practical testing as necessary for that members specified competition event. The Teams and its members agree to uphold and abide by the rules and regulations of Louisiana Tech University as well as the Louisiana Tech University Department of Professional Aviation Standard Operating Procedures manual.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Triweekly events in Davison hall; one at Flight Ops weekly.
