National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
Purpose
The NAACP works to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through democratic processes; Our mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.
Membership requirements
The NAACP requires all members to meet a 75% meeting and activity attendance for the academic school year.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
