National Society of Black Engineers
Purpose
The mission of NSBE is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. We accomplish this mission by hosting study jams sessions, industry speakers, professional development events, and neighborhood cleanups. The National Society of Black Engineers adheres to Louisiana Tech's mission by providing a safe space for all demographics of students to be provided opportunities to learn, serve the community, and professional encouragement.
Membership requirements
Members of NSBE are expected to learn skills and information that will impact their future as members graduate and become professional engineers.
