Student Organizations

Purpose

The purpose of the Orientation Student Leaders (OSLs) shall be to help freshmen students and their families make the transition from High School to College as smoothly as possible. The members shall strive to implement the ideals of scholarship, citizenship, and leadership by rendering services and making contributions to Louisiana Tech University.

Membership requirements

Students must be current, full-time students at Louisiana Tech University. Potential members must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Meeting times and location

OSLs are required to take COUN 201 during the Spring Quarter of their membership period. Class and practice times shall be decided by the Director.
