Philosophy Club
Purpose
This organization is established to create and maintain an open, informal environment where both students and faculty can raise, investigate, and converse upon philosophical topics as well as provide a space for social gatherings and community outreach. Members of the LTPC will select these topics, and all other club functions. This organization shall be a platform for free speech through open discourse for the student body of Louisiana Tech University. The LTPC functions under the direction and guidance of the Louisiana Tech Philosophy Department. The LTPC will enforce and uphold the policies, rules, and regulations of Louisiana Tech University.
Membership requirements
Membership in the LTPC is open to any person enrolled at Louisiana Tech University without restriction to race, creed, orientation, sex, national origin, age, or disability. Membership in the LTPC shall be composed of three (3) groups: General Members, Administrative Members, and Executive Members.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00pm in GTM 105
