Student Organizations

Purpose

The mission of the Pre-Dental Society is to prepare interested Louisiana Tech students for a career in dentistry. While continuously promoting fellowship between students, we strive to inform students on various aspects of the application process, opportunities in the field of dentistry, and service to the community.

Membership requirements

All members must pay a yearly due of $20. This due will be collected upon the members first attended meeting. The yearly due will help cover costs which included but are not limited to: organization merchandise, food, gifts for speakers, reading materials. All members have the right to vote for officer elections. All members also have the right to make recommendations. * All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Meeting times and location

Meetings are held biweekly on Mondays at 6 pm in Carson Taylor Hall Room 328
