Pre-Law Society
Purpose
The purpose of the Louisiana Tech Pre-Law Society is to facilitate coordination between Louisiana Tech students in preparation for law school, to provide a forum for discussing and assisting students for the law school process, and to inform students about law schools and the legal profession in general. The members shall strive to implement the ideals of leadership, citizenship, and scholarship by providing open-forum discussion and an environment for cooperation.
Membership requirements
Members shall be composed of active and alumni members. All officers and voting members shall be currently enrolled students at Louisiana Tech University. Membership in the Louisiana Tech Pre-Law Society is open without restrictions as to race, creed, sex, or national origin. Active members shall be in good academic standing with Louisiana Tech University and maintain at least a 2.30 cumulative GPA. Active Members shall be enrolled as a part time or full time undergraduate or graduate student.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Monthly meetings on the first Monday at 5:30 pm in GTM 129
