Psychology Society (Psi Chi)
Purpose
The purpose of the Psychology Society and Psi Chi shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. All members shall strive to implement the ideals of scholarship, citizenship, and leadership by rendering services and making contributions to Louisiana Tech University.
Membership requirements
Psychology Society: To be an active member, a student must attend one event, two meetings, and 6 community service hours. Yearly dues and completing the anti-hazing training provided by the university are also required. Psi Chi: To be considered an active member, a student must have completed at least 36 hours of college credit with a maintained GPA of 3.0, finished 14 hours of psychology college credits with a maintained 3.00 GPA, and be in the top 35% of their class. Yearly dues and completing the anti-hazing training provided by the university are also required. * All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 forExecutive Officers.

Meeting times and location
Weekly Meetings on Thursdays at 5pm in Woodard Hall 201.
