Psychology Society (Psi Chi)
Purpose
The purpose of Psi Chi shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. The purpose of the Psychology Society shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology. All members shall strive to implement the ideals of scholarship, citizenship, and leadership by rendering services and making contributions to Louisiana Tech University.
Membership requirements
Psi Chi: To be considered for active membership in the society, a student must have completed at least 36 hours of college credit and have made no less than a 3.0 GPA based on hours pursued and must have completed 9 hours of psychology college credits and must have made no less than a 3.00 GPA in those credits and be in the top 35% of their class. Psychology Society: Active membership includes attending one event, two meetings, completing 6 community service hours, and paying yearly dues, and completing the anti-hazing training provided by the university.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Biweekly meetings on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Woodard Hall 100A
