Sigma Kappa
Purpose
Sigma Kappa Sorority is an organization of collegiate and alumnae women committed to promoting the ideals of lifelong friendship, intellectual and spiritual fulfillment, and service for the greater good. As members of Sigma Kappa Sorority, we commit ourselves to unite as sisters and uphold the Standards of Excellence through academic achievement, philanthropic endeavors and personal integrity.
Membership requirements
Members of Sigma Kappa are expected to adhere to our academic and scholarship, financial, housing, membership, and risk management policies. The chapter must have a combined 3.0 or above together. Each member must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a 2.75 quarterly GPA before being on bad academic standing. Executive council must maintain a 3.0 or above.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Weekly meetings on Sunday in Wyly Auditorium at 5pm!
