Student Organizations

Purpose

Empower women to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and leaders; expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.

Membership requirements

For student to be determind "active" members, they must be enrolled as a national SWE member and attend the monthly meetings. For regular members, attendance at our monthly meetings is mandatory. Members must pay a membership fee at the beginning of the year. All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
