Career Day Employer Information
About Career Day
Career Day is a daylong recruiting event that offers networking opportunities for employers, alumni and students. Career Day participation is a direct way to connect employers with Louisiana Tech talent and provide them with information about full time, part time and internship availability inside your organization. This fair is an all majors fair; to view a list of majors offered at La Tech visit https://secure.latech.edu/academics/degrees.php.
Should your organization be interested in recruiting Louisiana Tech talent, you are welcomed to participate in our fair.
Registration and Payments
Registration is done online (click here to register).
A fee of $200 will provide a six-foot table, lunch reservations and refreshments for 3 representatives. Due to the growth of our Career Center events in the recent years, we can no longer accommodate more than three (3) representatives.
Government affiliates receive a 50% discount on their registration fee.
All electronic equipment must be furnished by the participants. Electrical outlets are provided based upon your request on the registration form.
After submitting your registration, you will receive an invoice from the Career Center staff with your balance and instructions on the payment process. Please wait to receive your invoice and instructions before submitting payments.
*Online registration is the first step in securing your space at Career Day. Your
registration is NOT final until your payment is received. Organizations with delinquent
balances (unpaid past fair fees) of any kind before Career Day, will result in incomplete
registration status and will lose priority placement within the event until delinquent
balance is paid.
Once you submit your online registration your organization is committed to participating in our event. Should your recruiting schedule change, it is your responsibly to contact the Career Center and update us of these changes. If a change in schedule is not reported to us at least two weeks prior to fair, your organization will continue to be responsible for paying your registration fee. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to email@example.com.
*inclement weather conditions that can affect travel suddenly is the only acceptation to this policy*
Table assignments are filled by registration date. This means the sooner you complete the registration process, the better table placement you receive. To maximize your organization's placement in our fair, you are encouraged to complete your registration as soon as possible. Please remember that online registration is the first step in completing registration. Organizations are not fully registered until payment is made.
