College Panhellenic Council
Purpose
The Panhellenic Council represents the five National Panhellenic Conference sororities of Louisiana Tech University. We are comprised of representatives from each sorority. The Recruitment Executive Board is comprised of nine women who serve in positions related to Recruitment, and all of the Panhellenic Council is led by the six members of the Executive Board. Louisiana Tech University has many traditions, and a strong Panhellenic Council is one of them. The Louisiana Tech University Panhellenic Council is comprised of representatives from each of Louisiana Tech’s five Panhellenic Sororities. Due to the contributions of all its members, the council continues to be recognized for its excellence. All of our Panhellenic sororities are outstanding and are committed to providing opportunities for their members to help them develop their greatest potential as students and as women. Sororities today are far more than just social organizations; they facilitate the growth and development of their members and contribute much to the community.
Membership requirements
All members, without regard to membership class, shall comply with all NPC Unanimous Agreements and policies and be subject to these Louisiana Tech University College Panhellenic Association bylaws, code of ethics and any additional rules this Panhellenic Association may adopt, unless otherwise prescribed in these bylaws. Any rules adopted by this Panhellenic Association in conflict with the NPC Unanimous Agreements shall be void. The regular membership of the Louisiana Tech University College Panhellenic Association shall be composed of all chapters of NPC fraternities at Louisiana Tech University.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Meetings at 6:00 PM in the Louisiana Tech Women's Center.
