Phi Epsilon Kappa (PEK)
Purpose
To provide an outlet for upper-echelon Louisiana Tech Kinesiology students to work together and provide support for one another. To bring about an awareness of the need for recreation and fitness activities on the part of Louisiana Tech Students. To promote a spirit of unity among Kinesiology majors and gain recognition of our profession on campus and state-wide. To work together in various areas of the Kinesiology field to promote high qualities of leadership ability and good character in leaders and to enable them to give organized activities to anyone seeking the satisfaction and pleasure it provides. To actively recruit new students interested in Kinesiology to attend Louisiana Tech University. To uphold and abide by the purpose, rules, and regulations of the Louisiana Tech University and Phi Epsilon Kappa National Fraternity in all activities.
Membership requirements
Uphold ideals of Phi Epsilon Kappa Attend/contribute to 1 service project per quarter Attend 75% of meetings Minimum GPA and executive officer GPA requirements is 3.0. Must be a member of the KINES club.
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
Meeting times and location
Monthly meetings on Thursdays at 6pm in Memorial Gym
