Student Organizations

Purpose

The main purpose of the Association shall be to promote interest in their entirety, the life and culture of Bangladesh, and to serve the current and prospective students from Bangladesh studying at Louisiana Tech University and to meet their various needs.

Membership requirements

Section 1: Students, Faculty, and staff of Louisiana Tech University are eligible to be members. Any other interested person is eligible to be an associate member of the Association. Section 1.1: Membership of the Association is open to all students at Louisiana Tech University, without regard to race, religion, sex, disability, nationality, or any other discrimination. Section 1.2: Members serving as officers of the Association must be enrolled students at Louisiana Tech University. Section 1.3: A member of the association cannot cancel his/her membership before 6 months of joining the association. Section 1.4: Attendance in at least one meeting every two quarters is mandatory.

* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.
