ACM- Association of Computing Machines
Purpose
Purpose- Section I - The Chapter is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes to promote the following: a) An increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing b) Greater interest in computing and its applications c) A means of communication between persons having an interest in computing Section II - The Chapter will serve students at Louisiana Tech and other interested persons in the community. Mission- ACM is a global scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, engineering, and application of computing, serving both professional and public interests by fostering the open exchange of information and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards. Membership requirements
2.0 GPA
* All student organizations have a minimum GPA requirement of 2.0 for general membership and 2.5 for Executive Officers.

Thirds Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm IESB 108
